Matt was born and raised in the coastal mountains of Vancouver and followed a path that took him around the world numerous times, always to return home. He now lives here with his wife Liz and their son Primo, and those majestic coast mountains are his playground and sanctuary where he spends much of his free time biking, running, and snowboarding.

Always more excited to be meeting new people, seeing new places, and learning firsthand about the world than being stuck in a classroom, Matt traveled extensively after graduation, but never stopped learning. Working and living in Australia, India, and southeast Asia gave him a wide range of experiences and adventures, from skateboard demos in India to rescue diving certifications in Bali.

After a decade of skilled trade work selling and installing custom hardwood floors, Matt was given the opportunity to showcase his sales and management skills in the promotional products industry as the Assistant Regional GM for AJM International. It was there he was able to take his passion for people and creative problem solving and make it a profession. With a unique sales approach and commitment to client focused solutions, he was able to double AJM's sales within BC while building new B2B relationships and strengthening existing ones. He has established himself as a valuable intermediary between product suppliers and distributors.

As the founder and principal agent of Primo Promotional Sales, Matt is taking those unique sales skills, his established network of distributors, and innate ability to connect with people from all walks of life to a broader market. He’s honoured to have to opportunity to represent Stormtech as the keystone line in his agency.
